July 4, 2015

This Fourth of July come visit small town America in Central Lake, Michigan. Enjoy its beautiful rolling hills, pastoral farms, sparkling lakes, and canopied nature trails. Peruse our parade and browse our arts and crafts bazaar. Savor the flavors of the Lions Club outdoor Chicken barbecue or dine indoors at one of our eateries. Treat the youngsters (and young at heart) to an evening desert by entering the “Fudgees 1 Mile Ice Cream Fun Run”. Or, burn the day’s calories by participating in an evening Ryan Shay MidSummer Night 5K run / walk or 10K run. After the races and the gorgeous sunset, let the day’s memories culminate while lounging on the grassy infield of our track/football stadium and at dusk lift your eyes heavenward to be enchanted by one of the most beautiful firework displays in Michigan!
